Copenhagen

Land stay

Explore Copenhagen's harbor, royal architecture and Nordic city culture while preparing for the flight north to Svalbard.

DAY 3

Copenhagen / Longyearbyen Embarkation

Embarkation day

Travel to Longyearbyen and complete embarkation arrangements. Final timing and activities may vary with weather, sea state, ice conditions, local regulations and supplier operations.

DAY 4

Ny-Alesund and the Yellow River Station Area

Svalbard

Visit the Ny-Alesund area, a former mining settlement and polar-exploration base that now hosts international research stations focused on glaciers, wildlife and climate change.

DAY 5-6

Svalbard Cruising

Polar landings and Zodiac cruising

Cruise through the Svalbard archipelago. The expedition team will arrange Zodiac outings, landings, lectures and deck observation according to weather, sea state and wildlife conditions, with chances to look for polar bears, walrus, seabirds and seals.

DAY 7-8

At Sea

Greenland Sea / Arctic waters

Spend two expedition days at sea crossing toward East Greenland. Onboard lectures and deck observation introduce Arctic sea ice, polar ecology, ocean conditions and the landscapes ahead.

DAY 9-11

East Greenland

Fjords, icebergs and Inuit community context

Explore East Greenland's fjords, icebergs and coastal settlements as conditions allow. Landings and Zodiac cruising focus on Arctic landscapes, wildlife observation and the cultural context of Inuit communities.

DAY 12-13

Denmark Strait / At Sea

Expedition cruising

Sail across the Denmark Strait toward Iceland. The onboard program continues with expert interpretation, recap sessions and preparation for the Iceland land segment.

DAY 14

Reykjavik Disembarkation

Iceland

Disembark in Reykjavik and begin the Iceland section, with visits arranged around geothermal landscapes, waterfalls, volcanic coastlines and the capital area.

DAY 15

Iceland South Coast

Iceland

Continue exploring Iceland's south coast, including waterfalls, black-sand beaches, volcanic scenery and geothermal features when included in the final program.

DAY 16

Return Travel

Return travel

Return travel and conclude the Arctic Three Islands expedition.
